مکانیسمی پویا برای تنظیم پارامترهای دسترسی به کانال جهت بهبود انتقال ویدئو در شبکه‌های محلی بی‌سیم

چکیده

با رشد روزافزون ارتباطات چند­رسانه­ای در اینترنت از یک طرف و با گسترش استقرار شبکه­ های بی­سیم از طرف دیگر، کیفیت انتقال ویدئو بر روی این شبکه ­ها به یک چالش اصلی تبدیل شده است. استاندارد 802.11e چارچوبی برای تأمین کیفیت سرویس متناسب با نوع ترافیک ارائه نموده است که در گونه­ های بعدی این استاندارد نظیر  802.11nو 802.11ac نیز مورد استفاده قرار می­ گیرد. یکی از مکانیسم­های دسترسی به کانال در این استاندارد،EDCA  است که چهار صف جداگانه برای ترافیک­ های متفاوت پیش­بینی نموده است. این مکانیسم برای هر صف، پارامترهای دسترسی به کانال مجزایی تعریف نموده است.  در این مقاله روشی پویا برای تنظیم پارامترهای دسترسی در هر صف از جمله اندازه پنجره رقابت و فاصله بین فریمی ارائه می­شود که میزان کاهش یا افزایش آن­ها را بر اساس شرایط متغیر شبکه محاسبه می ­نماید. ضمناً از نرخ تصادم متوسط برای تعیین شرایط بار شبکه استفاده می ­شود. این معیار با یک میانگین وزنی برای هر صف در هر ایستگاه محاسبه و پس از هر بار ارسال بسته، به روزرسانی می­ شود. نتایج شبیه­ سازی در  NS2 نشان می ­دهد که روش پیشنهادی باعث بهبود کیفیت انتقال ویدئو از نقطه­ نظر معیارهای متعدد از جمله کیفیت ویدئوی دریافتی، گذرداد، نرخ اتلاف بسته و تأخیر انتها به انتها می­ شود.
