کاهش هزینه انرژی و کربن مراکز داده ابری با استفاده از الگوریتم‌های بهینه جانمایی ماشین‌های مجازی و یک مدل خودکار کنترل کننده مقیاس سرور‌ها

چکیده

امروزه یکی از مهم‌ترین چالش‌ها در رایانش ابری، هزینه‌های سرسام‌آوری می باشد که توسط ارائه‌دهندگان خدمات ابری جهت مصرف انرژی و مالیات کربن پرداخت می‌شود. براین‌اساس، تلاش‌های فراوانی توسط ارائه‌دهندگان خدمات ابری برای کاهش این دسته از هزینه‌ها مانند افزایش بهره‌وری سخت‌افزار سرورها شده است. هرچند اکثر تلاش‌های انجام‌شده، تنها بر روی یک مرکز داده واحد متمرکز هستند ولی در سالهای گذشته، مدل‌های زیادی در این خصوص ارایه شده است که هدف نهایی آنها به حداقل رساندن هزینه‌های انرژی مصرفی و انتشار کربن با کمک چندین مرکز داده مربوط به یک ارائه دهنده خدمات ابری که از لحاظ جغرافیایی توزیع شده‌اند، می باشد. یکی از نواقص مهمی که در تمامی روش‌ها مشاهده می گردد، نگهداری تمامی سرور‌های مراکز داده در حالت آماده باش می‌باشد، حتی زمانی که بیکار هستند. ایده اصلی این مقاله افزودن امکان افزایش و کاهش خودکار مقیاس سرور به‌صورت افقی در یک مرکز داده، بر اساس بهره وری پردازنده‌های مرکز داده می باشد. مدل ارایه شده با داده‌های واقعی در شبیه ساز CloudSimPlus پیاده سازی گردید و همچنین نتایج آنرا با بهترین مدل‌های جاری مورد مقایسه قرار دادیم. نتایج شبیه‌سازی نشان می‌دهد که مدل پیشنهادی در مقایسه با مدل‌های قبلی توانسته است حدود 68 درصد، میزان هزینه انرژی و انتشار کربن را در مراکز داده کاهش دهد.
